Sinharaja Rain Forest a very important, UNESCO named world heritage site and Biosphere reserve. Sinharaja is one of
the most important bio diversity hotspot in Sri Lank The hilly virgin rainforest, part of the Sri Lanka lowland rain forests
was saved from the worst of commercial logging by its inaccessibility, and was designated a World Biosphere Reserve
in 1978 and a World Heritage Site in 1988. The reserve’s name translates as Kingdom of the Lion.
The reserve is only 21 km (13 mi) from east to west, and a maximum of 7 km (4.3 mi) from north to south, but it is a
treasure trove of endemic species, including trees, insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.
An interesting phenomenon is that birds tend to move in mixed feeding flocks, invariably led by the fearless Greater
Racket-tailed Drongo and the noisy Orange-billed Babbler. Of Sri Lanka’s 26 endemic birds, the 20 rainforest species
all occur here, including the elusive Red-faced Malkoha, Green-billed Coucal and Sri Lanka Blue Magpie.

you are proceeding to Udawalawa via Deniyaya – Panamure Road, you can witness the beautiful Architectural
creation Maduwanwela Walawwa as well.
Maduwanwela Walawwa is a Walauwa located in upper South of Sri Lanka. Maduwanwela Walawwa dates back to
the reign of King Wimaladharmasuriya II (1687-1707 AD). It was built by Maduwanwela Maha Mohottala in the 1700s
and was expanded numerous times by the Maduwanwela family until 1905 when the final expansion was undertaken
by Maduwanwela Maha Disawe. During 1877-1905 period, the Walawwa had 121 rooms, 21 inner courtyards (Meda
Midula) and 80 000 acres of land surrounding it, at present there are on 43 rooms left. Located on in the grounds is a
courthouse with seating space for 100 people, furniture and the equipment used for punishments are still present.
Following the death of Maduwanwela Maha Disawe, the last of the Maduwanwela family, the house was transferred
to Sir Francis Molamure. In 1974,
Udawalawe National Park lies on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces, in Sri Lanka. The national park
was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the
Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir. Udawalawe is an important habitat for water birds
and Sri Lankan elephants. It is a popular tourist destination and the third most visited park in the country.
The Udawalawe Elephant Transfer Home is a facility within Udawalawe National Park in Sri Lanka that was established
in 1995 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation. Its primary objective is to rehabilitate orphaned
elephant calves for ultimate release back into the wild.

Sithulpawwa Rajamaha Viharaya is an ancient Buddhist monastery located in Hambantota District, South Eastern Sri
Lanka. Situated 18 km east of the pilgrimage town Katharagama, it is believed to have been built in the 2nd century
B.C by king Kavantissa. This ancient monastery with a history over 2200 years, was a place of worship for devotees as
well as a center of Buddhist education for Buddhist monks.
Yala National Park covers 126,786 hectares including the Strict Natural Reserve (Block II). The most familiar is Block I
(14,101 hectares) and this block was established in 1938. Yala is famous for its big herds and large number of Elephants,
Leopards, Spotted Deer, Sāmbhar, Crocodiles, Mongoose, Wild Boar, Wild Buffalo, and many other animals. More than
130 bird species are recorded which includes the resident and winter visitors

the Yala national park and spend your leisure time in the Wild Coast Tented Lodge overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Kumana National Park in Sri Lanka is renowned for its avifauna, particularly its large flocks of migratory waterfowl and
wading birds. The park is 391 kilometers southeast of Colombo on Sri Lanka’s southeastern coast. Kumana is
contiguous with Yala National Park. Kumana was formerly known as Yala East National Park, but changed to its present
name on 5 September 2006. Kumana is one of the most important bird nesting and breeding grounds in Sri Lanka. 255
species of birds have been recorded in the national park.

Portuguese and Dutch Fort which is a “World Heritage Site” in which the central city is contained today, the 90-acre
Galle Fort shows no evidence of the Portuguese founders.
Hikkaduwa beach – reputed as the second best surfing spot in Sri Lanka as well as you can enjoy your stay with water
sports activities in Hikkaduwa. Hikkaduwa Coral Sanctuary – located a few hundred meters offshore. The sanctuary has
approximately seventy varieties of multi-colored corals
Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery: Sri Lanka is globally recognized as one of the few places in the world where you can observe
marine turtles in their natural habitat. Five out of seven of the world’s marine turtle species are found in Sri Lanka and
come ashore in Kosgoda to lay eggs, including green, loggerhead, hawksbill, olive and leatherback
